RB’s Meter overhauls

All clock repairs are now being carried on by my old employee : Alan

he's in Lincoln and you can contact him on : 01522 514713

One of the first things that anyone looks at when casting an eye over your bike is the meters! We can provide any colour or style of your choice. We pride ourselves on each set of gauges being unique, you will never see another bike with identical faces! This service can be carried out for most Kawasaki Triple meters and all Z1/Z900/Z650 and some Z1000 meters.

Of course we can also put the gauges back to original . . . .

Before restoration After we've finished with it

There are varying price scales, the most basic service is a re-face of the meters and re-paint of the needle. From that we can go on in various stages to repaint the cases, re-plate the cases, zero the mileometer and also strip and replace the meter damping.

Here are some more examples - click the image to see a larger version.

It isn't just the meters we restore, it is also the centre consoles and housings . .  from this :

Here's an unusual job that came in recently, a customer in the U.S. was unfortunate enough to be caught up in hurricane Katrina, His newly restored H2 was under water, sludge and worse stuff for a LONG time, he sent us his clocks for restoration :

These were off a later H2 with the blue writing on the faces, he wanted a perfect job doing . . what do you think to the end result ?

Now available - 1969 - 1971 H1 Meter rebuilds  ! !

Unfortunately the early H1 meters are a little more complicated than the later meters and hence more time consuming to rebuild - but we can do it!
